The Corum fund acquires Gimi Spa’s industrial property for 23.5 million

Gimi Spa, a company owned by the Private Equity funds Aksia SGR and Alcedo SGR, has signed an agreement for the sale of its industrial property to the Corum fund, for a value of 23.5 million euro.

Based in Monselice, in the Padua area, Gimi was founded in 1970 by the Miola family, as a manufacturer of garden and leisure equipment. Today Gimi produces and sells clothesline, ironing boards, trolleys for storage, ladders, stools and other home accessories. In 2014, the company recorded a turnover of over 82 million euros.

Gimi Spa was assisted in the operation by Elr Lex Avvocati Associati, with partner Gianluca Leotta, and by Chiomenti, with partner Roberto Ghio, assisted by the associate Marco Pagani.

The Corum fund was assisted by the advisor Miel Capital and for the legal aspects by the Macchi di Cellere and Gangemi study, with the partner Ernesto Pucci.
